WoW Developer see’s dip in subscription as a good thing…

In a recent interview with PC Gamer™ Tim Chilton reports that even though subscriptions are signification down since the release of Cataclysm, this indicates a good thriving market for PC as a re-emergent platform for gamers.

“In a lot of ways I see the PC as potentially a re-emerging sort of platform,” says Tom.

“I think that the PC has always offered ways to approach games that you can’t necessarily approach on console, even if it’s just because of UI restraints.”

Tim Chilton goes on to explain that in the dip of subscriptions it opens up other development oppertunities for gaming on the PC platform, going on to explain that the keyboard and mouse system offers more control and options of developers to explore with development.
