‘Firefall’ is coming

Alright, so If your a reagular reader of Kotaku, IGN or even Joystiq you may of already heard of Firefall.

In a nut shell it’s a free to play massively multilayer online game with a Sci Fi theme with a “Borderland-esk” aesthetics (without the repetitive desert). It’s been getting pretty good reviews and seeing these guys are a fairly new company it’s a really positive thing to be hearing at this stage. Anyhow, back in October last year I was sent a video of the gameplay that was revealed during PAX 2010 which blew me away.

Since then I’ve been lurking the forums and keep an ear out for any word of a possible open beta. Hell, I signed up for the beta and have been waiting for one like a desperate mail lady.

Until recently a trickle of information has been revealing itself on the website and now, It’s everywhere and people are getting hyped.

It’s seen on IGN and Kotaku and now an announcement inviting people to play it first hand at this years PAX 2011 at the end of this month. I just hope to hear some exciting stuff to come back from that.
